BCS Teacher Leela Goel [née Advani] passed on

Leela Advani [later married name Goel] passed on at the age of 91 at New Delhi on 23rd September 2019 of old age complications. She was cremated at Lodhi Crematorium Delhi on 25/9/19.

“Miss Advani” as she was known at BCS, taught English during 1953~55 and went back to Lucknow in ’55 to do a second Masters [in English, after having done an earlier one in Anthropology]. She then taught English at Isabella Thoburn College Lucknow after completing her Masters in English.

      May she rest in peace. What a strong resemblance to her brother, Mr Arjun C Advani.. She lived a full live and the Advani genes served her well.
