Very much saddened to read of the passing of Paul Tonk, a senior housemate in Ibbetson in the early fifteen. He was a jovial character and a good sport. Our soccer goal keeper. Took enthusiastic interest in the pillow fights ! Paul has gone but memories remain. God rest his soul in peace. My condolences to the family members he leaves behind.

Very sad on hearing the passing away of Paul Tonk. A gentleman and full of life. We were from the same house. Our last meeting was at the OCA get together at Chandigarh some years back. My condolences to the family.

To all OCA brethren. I send you all my heartfelt thoughts and sincere condolences at this time of immense worry and heartbreak for so many. My tenuous connection to BCS is through my late friend John Whitmarsh – Knight, a former colleague and valued friend who passed away before this dreadful pandemic struck us all. Sent with compassion and humility.

Lovely man and a gentleman of gentlemen. I will miss him and he did not deserve to leave the world because of government apathy

Knew Tonk during the School days. He was 3 years my senior, & was tall & lanky & considered as a very witty guy and a gentleman.
Never met him after he left School.
May his noble soul rest in peace.
    Heartfelt condolences to the family.

Not only was Paul my classmate but a person of great humour, personality and above all a very decent human being. It is my misfortune I could not catch up with him after we left B.C.S., I would like to express my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May his soul rest in peace and may God grant his family the courage and fortitude to bear their irreparable loss.

This is so sad. We were years apart in school and never met. He got in touch and over several years, we exchanged notes on a variety of subjects. And he had a great sense of humour.
