Very sad news. Rajiv was my senior & he was my Gymnastics partner for 3-4 years. Great person. I am very sad to learn about his death . RIP.

Rajiv, or Kuku as he was fondly called, was a childhood friend and stayed in contact regularly. Such a gentle person he was. Very fond of cooking traditional Pahari food and I used to enjoy his detailed descriptions and photos that he posted on FaceBook… After he became unwell he remained full of life and was never heard complaining about anything at all… I had called him one day – not realizing that he was critically ill then and unable to speak much – but he did come on the phone and continued to inquire about OTHERS and never once moaned about his own pain.

I am thankful to him for coming to our assistance and giving much support when my father was hospitalized at IGMC Simla…he would walk from the Secretariat in Chotta Simla to Snowdon Hospital after work, to come check on my father and inquire if anything was needed.

Condolences to the family, this must be a very difficult time for them.

    Rest in Peace departed friend.

A BIG shock. Remember him as an polite, humble excellent person. He was my landlord in Solan for 4 years. During this period met him once only in Dharamshala. Then only realized he was a OC. Loved his regular updates on Facebook on his dishes.
Heart felt condolences to his family.
May his soul rest in peace.
