On behalf of all OC’s in the Greater Toronto Area, we want to welcome you to join us on a boat cruise leaving from Gananoque on the Canadian side, visiting Boldt Castle on the US side and the Thousand Islands.
It is a wonderful drive from Toronto along Lake Ontario.

We have been meeting for the last 12 years and we are growing.
I have always believed in a collaborative leadership with everyone having a voice.

We will continue to have 3 events on a formal basis. A dinner in the spring, an outing in the summer and a dinner again in the fall.
I will be giving dates in advance that way we can all plan going forward.
Some of the events going forward will be attending Stratford for the Shakespeare Festival, attending a vineyard for wine tasting, and the Shaw Festival on Niagara on the Lake.
There is a good chance that I will be visiting India next year and plan to meet Ashwini, Ajay, Arun and get some best practices from you guys.

Congratulations to Ruskin Bond (class of 1952) on receiving the Padma Bhushan award. All OC’s should feel proud of his remarkable achievement. This follows a Padma Shri award that he received in 1999.

AN APPEAL TO ALL OLD COTTONIANS
Dear Sirs,
While it is all very well for us to get together in pleasant circumstances, the same does not hold true, more often than not, in situations where one is confronted with the hard realities of life.
I write to you specifically in connection with one of our staff member’s Mr. Dinesh Kumar’s son being diagnosed with the onset of cancer for which he has been rushed to Mumbai and would be operated upon on the 13th of May 2014. The operation has been estimated to set him back by approximately Rs. 9 Lakhs. While we in school as his colleagues are doing whatever we can to help him out in his moment of need and more so because the young boy is an Old Cottonian who passed out of school in the year 2010, I make an appeal to you and the rest of the Cottonian fraternity to kindly help out in whichever possible way you can to garner in sufficient funds for this young boy’s treatment.
