Des Raj Sarda of Rivaz House passed away at the age of 76 years. He was born in 1935 in Tanzania. All four Sarda brothers were at BCS. He was excellent in academics and was awarded a double promotion in School. He was fondly called ZULLU-2. He obtained his Colt Colours in Cricket and was in the boxing School team in the category of Light Weight. Des Raj Sarda went to Oxford University and specialised in the field of Architecture. However, he went into the business, specialising in restaurants and set up a chain of three well known Indian restaurants in UK and one in Europe.

He leaves behind a wife and four children. He will be remembered with sincere gratitude by all the Old Cottonians.
