I want to draw your attention for the upcoming OCA Shivalik Car Drive being held on the 23rd of September, 2015with flag off from  Lake Club, Chandigarh at 11.30 and culminating at BCS, Shimla.
This event is the brainchild of a select group of (active & passive) Car Rally racers OCs. For this event, the OCA has teamed up with two established Clubs – Xtreme Offroaders Club (Regd.) and 4×4 Offroaders Club Chandigarh.
All OCs desirous of participating in the Car drive are requested to contact on the numbers mentioned in the accompanying picture.

OCA North Chapter / Reunion Lunch 9th March 2014

The Old Cottonians Association NORTHERN CHAPTER will have a Reunion Lunch on Sunday 9th March 2014 at the CGA Golf Range at Sector 6, Chandigarh [11:30 AM onward]. Dress : Formal / Preferably Blazer School Tie. Contributory Rs 750/= Students , Rs 1500/= For OC’s .. Wives & Girlfriends are Guests and there is no separate charge for them.

OCA India Northern Chapter – 23rd Annual Meet

Dear OCs,
OCA (India), Northern Chapter 23rd Annual Meet at Chandigarh on Sunday, 4th December, 2011

  1. It is time again for our annual get-together, I am sure all of you are anxiously looking forward to renewing old contacts and remembering your wonderful days spent at BCS. The annual meet would be conducted from 12:00 noon onwards at the PHD House, Sector -31A, Chandigarh -160031.
  2. All OC’s are requested to attend alongwith their partners and make this meet a resounding success.
  3. Contribution:  The charges for the lunch inclusive of drinks shall be Rs. 750/- for OC’s. and Rs. 1200/- for OC’s attending with spouses and partners. The above charges may please be paid at the time of registration at the counter which will be established at site.
  4. Dress:  Formal preferably Blazer and OC Tie.
  5. Sponsors: All OC’s interested in sponsoring advertisements, drinks etc. for the above meet are requested to get in touch with the undersigned.
  6. Participation: Please confirm your participation at the below mentioned phone numbers or email address as it will help us plan for our catering etc.
  7. Mailing: Since a lot of OC’s may not be on our mailing list, you are requested to kindly inform all OC’s, known to you, about this meet.

Sesquicentennial Celebrations

Dear OCs:

This is to inform you that the Sesquicentennial Celebrations of BCS are taking place from 1st, October till 6th October 2009 both days inclusive as per the programme enclosed.  Please feel free to contact us at the OCA ( India) Northern Chapter for any assistance you may require towards making the Sesquicentennial Celebrations a most enjoyable and memorable experience.

Accommodation and Local Transportation at Chandigarh

Adequate arrangements have been made for accommodation at Chandigarh for the night of 1st October, 2009. Some OC’s have very graciously agreed to host visiting OC’s. Tie ups have also been made with some leading hotels in various categories who would provide rooms and facilities at a special tariff ranging from Rs. 2000/- till Rs. 6000/- . Kalka Shimla Train

The OCA (India) Northern Chapter is sponsoring a train from Kalka to Shimla on the 2nd of October 2009. The train would depart from Kalka at approx. 12:00 noon. Food and beverages (non-alcoholic) would be served. The seats would be allotted on a first come, first serve basis according to the following order of priority:
a) Overseas OC’s
b) OC’s who had been a part of the school party during their school days
c) Others

Contribution for attending the Sesquicentennial Celebrations:

An amount of Rs. 2000/- is being charged towards attending the Sesquicentennial Celebrations. Spouses would be considered guests and would not be charged separately. The last date for confirming your participation would be 5th of September, 2009. The contribution of Rs. 2000/- if through cheque should be made in favour of OCA India, if through DD, in favour of  OCA ( India), payable at New Delhi,  payment in cash would also be accepted. All payments would be receipted. On the occasion of the Sesquicentennial Celebrations of Bishop Cotton School, the OCA ( India)  Northern Chapter is printing a souvenir. The rates for advertising in the Souvenir are as follows:
1. Title Page  – Rs. 25,000/-
2. Back Page  – Rs. 20,000/-
3. Front Page inside – Rs. 15,000/-
4. Back page inside – Rs. 15,000/-
5. Full page inside – Rs. 10,000/-
6. Half page inside – Rs. 5000/-
The last date for confirming your advertisement would be 5th of September, 2009. The contribution towards meeting the cost of the advertisement through cheque should be made in favour of OCA( India), Northern Chapter, if through DD, in favour of  OCA ( India) Northern Chapter, payable at Chandigarh,  payment in cash would also be accepted. Note: Keeping in view the enormous expense which would be incurred by the OCA (India) Northern Chapter towards hosting a dinner at Chandigarh, a lunch at Shimla and the Kalka-Shimla train, all OC’s are requested to generously contribute any amount they are comfortable with over and above the Rs. 2000/- participation fee in order to help meet the expenses. The additional contribution may be made in favour of OCA (India) Northern Chapter.
