We sadly announce that SATINDER PAL SINGH – CURZON HOUSE 1959-1968, passed away on 10th February 2011 due to complications of cancer.

May his soul rest in peace.

    Yes, he was my cousin and close to me and family – more like a brother. Just got back from the cremation. Not a dry eye and comments like – ‘he had never uttered a harsh word to anyone, gentlest of persons—-’. Cancer may be the victor but cannot wipe away memories of his endearing ways. But we have to bow to his Will.

    I echo B.M.’s words about my memory of Satinder Pal Singh as a fellow Curzonian:?he had never uttered a harsh word to anyone, gentlest of persons?-?. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

    We do bow to His will, and His will includes that all of humanity will live again and we shall see Satinder again.

    Completely depressed at learning about the demise of Satinderpal,who was a dear classmate of mine and have so many fond memories of the the gentlest person.My heart felt condolences to his family and may his soul rest in peace.

    Deeply shocked..Satu was a perfect gentleman..After school I had the pleasure of meeting him in Simla last year..I pray for peace to the departed soul & strength to family to bear this irrepairable loss.

    SP Singh, as he was known in school, was a pleasant and endearing guy, always helping when he could. He fought sickness bravely in the last couple of years with a very positive mind, and a smile on his face. For some time, we were confident he had beaten cancer, but alas he had to go. We pray for strength to his family to accept this great loss, though his memory will live on.

    About an hour back I wrote to Sathi 1 that Satu and myself went to Sathi2s house may be 25 years back. Just now my son gave me the news of my friends passing away. I am very sad and depressed, we were close friends. I am just knocked off.
