I was pleased to read of the Get Well wishes for Malcolm Petters, who left B.C.S. in 1939. I enjoy a great friendship with him and his family. However he lives in Balcatta a suberb of Perth Western Australia. Cheers, Dick D’Abreu. Curzon 1936 to 1946.
Thanks for the correction [of Malcolm's place of residence] Dick. I will make a note of this and correct my records too.
We are in touch with the Petters and have recently sent a copy of our personal diary of the Simla celebrations to them. Evelyn told us that they had both enjoyed it and that Malcolm was particularly thrilled when she read it to him. We are so pleased and have now sent our not very professional video to them and hope they will really enjoy that too.
A wonderful occasion and so sad they could not be there.

I am more than satisfied to read of the Get Well Greetings for Malcolm Petters ( left School the year my very dear mentor and friend Freddie Brown did ) and for Partap Grewal, whose life comes through as an inspiration and who is an admired and loved O.C.brother of this area.May God bless them with fast recovery, comfort and peace. Miss meeting them both.

A sad farewell to an old school friend of mine. (Malcolm Petters) I will always remember our get-togethers in Perth where a few OC’s would gather together and just talk about the great times we had as boys in BCS. We never ran out of things to talk about. We OC’s in Perth will miss your company….Rest in peace in that Grand Lodge above…your good friend Dick D’Abreu.
