    Rajiv Sawney, my Friend

Rajiv was the most straightforward person in our 1963 graduating batch at BCS; always without concealment or deception. He invariably would do the right thing. It was my greatest pleasure to have known him in School.

Years later, when Carmen and I visited India, he invited us to lunch with him and his family to his home. We spent the whole afternoon with them that day. When it was time to go, I hugged his daughter; I told her how honorably I would forever think of her Dad.

We will miss Rajiv, but our maker is now happy to have Rajiv with Him. I am certain Rajiv is just as happy too.

    Deeply saddened.
Rajive was very committed and passionate in all his endeavors. This was very visible in his role as our house captain.
A vivid d memory of him is,wiping and adjusting his glasses as he with Mr.Verghese took the morning inspection.
May God bless his soul and give his family strength.

It would be good to have a prayer meeting for all of us who are still alive and trying to serve God and our neighbours
